Winifred married William Dalton, son of George Dalton and Winifred Wigginton, on 17 Nov 1804 in Pittsylvaniaco, VA.¹ (William Dalton was born about 1786 ¹ and died about 1860 ¹.)

  General Notes:

Mr. Felchlia writes that Winifred was the daughter of Abner and Drusilla O'Neal Foster (Forster ?). They resided in Pittsylvania Co., Va., Warren and Allen Cos., Ky. William died after 1860 as he was counted on that census as being retired, living with his son Daniel II. William and Winifred may be buried at the Concord Methodist Church at Scottsville, Ky.
John O'Neal signed William's marriage bond in Virginia. William and Winifred sold land in Pittsylvania Co., Va.in1806 suggesting the approximate time that they moved to Warren Co., Ky.
The order of birth for Jensey, Winnie and Martha was determined from marriage dates, and are not necessarily correct. No census records were found to indicate a birth date, nor were other state and county records found to determine their date of birth.
